Log Streaming

Streaming your CloudWatch Logs to Lumigo is the fastest and easiest way to make full use of Lumigo's data processing and analysis capabilities, including: Timeouts, Errors, and Insights.

How does it work?

We subscribe our Lumigo Kinesis data stream (per-region) to your Lambda function's CloudWatch Log Group, so that we can incorporate data emitted by your functions

What do I need to do?

Nothing at all!

After you connect your environment, every function monitored by Lumigo will be automatically subscribed to the Lumigo Kinesis data stream.

If you don't see your Lumigo Log group subscription (in AWS Console > your CloudWatch Log Group > Subscription Filters), please contact us by clicking the chat button in the lower-right-hand corner of your screen, or email us at [email protected] to configure your log streaming data subscription manually.

How much does it cost?

The cost is very low, and in many cases it’s essentially free!
Inter-regional AWS data transfer costs depend on how your data is transported. If your data is transported from location to location within the same availability zone, then your data transfer costs are nearly zero. Data transfer between AWS services located in the same region, but in different availability zones, is considered regional data transfer, and is charged at $0.01/GB of outgoing data transfer.
