Copilot For Slack

Overview

You can use Copilot in Slack to help answer your Lumigo-related questions, and aid you in your day to day work. Integrating it is a relatively simple process that mostly relies on already existing integrations of Lumigo into Slack.

Integrating Copilot Into Slack

Before integrating Copilot, you need to integrate Lumigo itself into Slack. Follow the instructions here:

Integrating With Slack

After doing so, you might need to upgrade your integration to add Copilot. This is only a requirement in cases where you have already had an integration with Slack, but did so before Fabruary 2025. If you do not see an upgrade button, it is not required.

1. From your project's sidebar, click Settings > Integrations.
2. Under Slack, click "Upgrade".

3. Allow the requested permissions.

4. A new Lumigo app will be added to your Slack.
5. (Optional) If you receive Lumigo alerts in any private Slack channels, add the new Lumigo app to them.

Using Copilot In Slack

To use Copilot, click the Ask Copilot button, or reply to a Lumigo alert in a thread and @mention the Lumigo app.
